Well when i found that old Radio-Cassette that my father used to have in his old Volkswagen a couple of years ago, i instantly knew that i had to bring it to live again.
And so i did, bellow are the steps with some explaining…
The Radio-Cassette player itself, its a Clarion (brand) with unknown model number, it includes a Radio-Cassette player, an embedded 23 + 23 watts amplifier, and a joystick style selector for the sound exit.
a little bit of extra wiring in the back…
here are the various spare speakers that i had at my disposal
i decided to use a carton box as a housing for the speakers..don’t ask why, i probably was bored to construct a wooden one…although it would sound better…
here it is with a second speaker on.
the back of the housing, the speakers are glued for steady -ness
the final setup of the speaker, the bolts are just decorative…to add a little more industrial look (!)
and….dah dah….(!) this is the final ‘product’, its sounds pretty good -believe me- although the speakers are bursted ( and eventually cutted off ) with power if you put the volume too high…well it seems that 23 + 23 watts are more than enough for these tiny speakers…
